Recall for propane tanks on '94-'95 models
This site lists an old recall (posted in 1995) about the propane tanks on '94 and '95 models. Apparently they can work loose over time. I posted it here in case anyone purchased a '94 and '95 so that they can check for this problem. The odds are excellent it has been taken care of on all of them, b...

Re: Correction on cut and paste
Occasionally the site seems to "time out" so I do get blank pages from time to time - haven't had one on logout but I have had it in a couple other places, but nothing consistent that I can complain to the provider about.bobby_409 wrote:Am I the only one that gets a blank page after log out?

Telephone jack?
It's a standard RJ-12 telephone jack. On my 1991, the outside connection is curbside, near the water heater, along with the cable TV connection.

Thermostat on end of cabinets above couch?
This controls the Fantastic Vent in the ceiling.
It will turn on the fan to try to cool the camper to whatever temperature you set.
However in mine the thermostat was not functioning correctly, so I bypassed it and now just control the vent via the speed settings on the fan itself.

Thermostat on rear wall?
It's the thermostat for the furnace (only). Slide the switch on the bottom to the right, then adjust the temperature. The furnace takes a minute or so to kick on after it's triggered. Then after you flip the switch to off, the fan will run for another 30-60 seconds to cool off the furnace before it ...

The red on/off switch in the rear wall control panel?
This one took me months to figure out. In mine, there's a fan mounted above the coils of the fridge, and this switch supplies power to it. However, there's a trick: in mine, there was a temperature sensor wired so that the temperature above the coils had to be above 115 degrees or something for it t...

What does the GFCI breaker do?
Just like in a house, the GFCI breaker (part of the rear wall outlet) is wired to cut off the power if it detects a "leakage" to ground - i.e., someone dropped an electrical appliance into water. The way our campers are wired, the breaker in that outlet controls: --The other outlet mounted...

What is the switch mounted under the monitor panel?
That switch controls the water heater. The water heater has electronic ignition, so it should be as simple as flipping the switch and waiting for it to start. The red light by the switch will turn on when the water heater is trying to light; after it lights successfully it will turn off. You'll see ...

Antenna/Cable TV questions and answers
Do we have a TV antenna? Yes, it doubles as the luggage rack on the roof. (Well, more properly, the luggage rack doubles as the antenna.) The general consensus is that it's not very good with reception. What is the switch mounted in the cutout on the rear wall control panel? This allows you to sele...

What does the light switch in the panel do?
In my 1991, it switches between the air conditioner and microwave; you can't run both at the same time. Wanderlost (who has a 1996) and others have reported that this switch controls the outlets in general. See this page for different examples. It'd be nice if it were labeled, but in mine the air co...

What does the switch in the monitor panel do?
It's the switch for the water pump, which is used when you are not using city water - you'd fill the tank, then turn that switch on to pressurize the system and provide water when you need it. When you flip the switch on, the pump should run for a moment to build pressure in the system (and don't wo...

This forum... (updated 2/15/09)
This forum was suggested to me by a member via PM (though he called it a "Dumb Questions" forum :) ). The idea is that if you have questions about your B190 or just camping in general, you can post a thread in this forum and we'll answer them. The examples given to me were "What does ...
