I likely will do an install some time in 2018. But, my system seems to run fairly cool as is. So for now, the transmission cooler is a ways down...

Re: Solar

James at Fit RV does good work. Nice practical blog post.

For those interested in the fundamentals of each solar system component (as well as an entertaining read) Handy Bob is another great source of experience based information. https://handybobsolar.wordpress.com/

Re: winterizing

<Edit 2/25/17> After I wrote the below, I remembered Skater's good tutorial on winterizing. Here is a link to that thread. http://b190.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=835&p=4262&hilit=winter#p4262 You can find fitting that has a Shrader valve (tire air valve) fitting on one side and a garden ho...

I have used a Garmin Nuvi 3597LMT for some time now. It works great. If you are interested, Garmin also has a GPS model that also includes a backup camera that looks interesting.

Re: New from the East Coast

Cgzito, If you have time, please, post about some of your favorite modifications that helped you live in your B190. We'd love to see your ideas. Regarding sales value of your B190, I suggest that you go to ebay.com and search on Airstream B190 then filter to show only the "completed" listi...

Changing plugs on the three or four cylinders at the front of the engine is not much fun. If you bought copper electrode plugs, I would consider trading them in for platinums so you won't have to do it again for a long time.

Re: 1998 on eBay

Nice new looking rig! I've always liked the idea of putting the toilet backed up against the side wall and having the shower in the aisle at the back door. Seems like a better use of space and more comfortable room for showering. However, I'd like not to have that tall sink partition at the back doo...

Re: Somewhat of an exclusive group...

Thank you for the generous offer! We'll have to add you to our wish list of WI stops.

It would be fun to talk to another B owner in person rather than through a computer screen. I know you all must really be out there somewhere! <smile>
