Re: light fixtures
Choptop, Those square lights are likely the same ones that Airstream used in our 1993. When we bought our B, the lens of several of the lights had holes melted in them. I was able to find inexpensive replacement lenses online... sorry don't remember where now. We then replaced the incandescent bulbs...

Re: Which is house battery ?
Your right... the Forty2 is not cheap. <smile> At one time I considered adding a plugin on the side of the Camper to tether a solar panel that could be set out in the sun. But I know it would stress me out worrying that it would walk off in the middle of the night! lol! If you get serious about putt...

Re: Which is house battery ?
Choptop, House battery : On my 1993 B190 the engine battery is a group size BCI-65 and it is mounted on the driver’s side. The house battery is a group size BCI-50 (long and skinny) and is mounted on the passenger side of the engine compartment. Generator Versus Solar : When we first bought our B190...

Re: Battery maintenance system: Solar & 120v
We’ve been using this system for four year now. For those that are considering doing something similar, I thought I would pass along my thoughts. We find that the small capacity Solar system that we installed is enough to power our lighting, run the water pump, power the two ceiling fans, run a radi...

Re: Hurricane tips?!?!
Sorry to hear that you are in Irma's path. Couple of thoughts... ... one thought would be to try to re-enforce the roof vent or AC shroud in case they take a hit from flying debris. ... I'd park it so that the over cab window is out of the wind as much as possible. I'd rather something hit the back ...

Re: Over cab mattress
Hi Choptop, Our B190 came with two separate foam mattress pads for the loft. The larger of the two foam pads takes up the full available space when the wood loft extension piece is in its collapsed storage position. In this position the second skinnier foam mattress just rest on top of the larger ma...

Re: Window handles or lack their of.
Hi Choptop, I have a 1993 B190. Ours should have the same windows as your 1990... but I don't know for sure. Anyway, my 1993 B190 has aftermarket windows made by Hehr manufacturing. You can still find parts for these windows fairly easily. Here are a couple of links to suppliers that have replacemen...

Re: Water Pump Leak & sub-flour
I haven't had to go there on our unit. So can't offer any info.
Try searching. I believe that there is a thread of someone doing a new floor including pulling out the subfloor.

Re: Transmission Temp & Vacuum gauge install
Chris, It gets even easier than that... The Autometer pillar just fits right over the existing pillar. No need to remove the factory pillar cover. On my vehicle, the Autometer pillar cover is mechanically trapped between the dash, the Airstream upper bunk roof above the driver's seat, the windshield...
