Screen room added to our awning

I'm looking at kits that will use the awning on our rigs to convert it to a screen room. Has anyone done this? It looks as if this unit: http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/12-trim-line-screen-room/17097 will work with our units-- anyone btdt? Live in New England-- itching for spring to get ou...

Winter Camping

Recently spent a weekend in White Mountains, temps down into the teens at night, high 30's during the day. We were boondocking, so not near electrical hook up. The camper heater worked well to keep the camper mostly warm. I have a 93, with the heater positioned below the closet in the bathroom. Plus...

12 Volt TV/DVD and Coffee Maker

Hello all-- I'm a new owner of a 93-- Love it love it love it! Upon return from our first weekend outing, we sat down and developed a "wish list". 2 of the items that showed up on this list, are a TV/DVD combination, and a coffee maker. We like to get off the beaten path, and therefore fre...

No problem--- really

Can anyone tell me how to post a picture-- that would make it very easy to see which switch I am talking about. I fully expect that the switch does not control anything, just left over from the Ford shell before the conversion

Thanks

I'm not sure we are talking about the same switch. I have one down near the fire extinguisher for the outside light. This switch is on the entry door to the back cab. The switch is on the inside of the door, to the left of the speaker. If you are looking at the door from the inside of the camper and...

Kayak carrying on the roof?

Does anyone have any history of carrying small kayaks on the roof? I have 2 small kayaks, and it looks like I could carry one on either side of the roof AC (being careful of the bathroom fan and tank exhaust vent). Is the roof rack railing strong enough to use ratchet tie downs? Any better suggestio...

Switch on passenger side rear door?

My side door ( the right door from the outside of the double doors) has a small black rocker switch near the speaker and on the inside edge of the door- anyone know if it is supposed to operate anything?

Update on Generator

Well I was able to get the generator to turn over, and after much coaxing with the choke, I have gotten it to stay running, however it is not running stable. Been running Carb cleaner and starting/running it every day-- seems to be getting better. Waiting for a new fuel filter on order-- Thanks for ...

Newbie and Generator starting

Hello-- After extensive research-- much of it on this fantastic site, I just purchased a 93 with 30K miles. It has been very well maintained with the sole exception of the generator. It has just 1.4 hours logged, but has not been started or serviced in a number of years-- Suggestions on how to safel...
