Hmm wonder if we could all get a bit of horsepower gain from the reduction of backflow, possibly even some dare I say it mpg gain..... Ok I am dreaming on the mpg. You can hear the 460 slurp fuel like a pig at the trough! They are thirsty, but not nearly as thirsty as an engine that size should be....

Wow! $900? RockAuto has the module for $65. (Unfortunately I can't link directly to it, but you can find it in the rockauto.com catalog.) Personally I'd pull the hood and engine cover, find where the cable connects to the throttle body, then follow it back to the cruise control unit and see how hard...

Re: On The Road and Want Internet

They did have three price points, all non-contract, either through secure account billing or through "Top-Up Cards", at 10 days/100MB for $10, 30 days/300MB for $20 or 30 days/3GB for $60. Virgin Mobile has changed their plans >> for the better <<. They now offer two prepaid plans: 10 day...

I had noticed the baffles but never really gave them much thought. I assumed they helped with noise abatement.

Good ideas on the generator exhaust pipe screens.

You are putting it in a battery box, right? That's really the best thing to do.

Trap Pond State Park - Laurel, Delaware

Erica and I stayed at Trap Pond State Park with the Airstream club recently. This is a beautiful state park. The campground is nice and well kept (water and electric only - no sewer connections, though they have a sewer dump station and a separate graywater dump station), and the biking/hiking trail...

I can tell you the foam is pretty expensive. I priced one out at a couple hundred dollars once. I don't really have any better suggestions, though. The other issue is that a standard mattress won't work (even if it fits side to side) won't work due to the fact that it has to fold up. Also, you might...

I picked up a 3 stage converter for mine - I can leave it plugged in all the time and it won't overcharge the battery. A good investment - I've had it for over two years now, and the deep cycle battery I installed at the same time (an Optima blue top) has been working perfectly.

That is what we have on our 93.
Yep. The idea is that if you climb down from the bunk, then realize you left the lights on, you can switch them off using that switch. In mine, though, it also kills the lights above the couch...

Running boards...

So the fiberglass running boards on mine are old, cracked, and need to be repainted (which would involve fixing the cracks). I'm considering removing them entirely and replacing them with other running boards. Has anyone done this? I figure if I can get a half-decent set of running boards for $200-$...

Rubbing tires...

Okay, this is a weird one. As a result of the accident (more correctly, a result of me locking up the front tires trying to avoid the accident), I have two new front tires to replace the ones that were all of 3 months old (sigh). The new tires are a different brand, but they are the same size. Howev...
