Honda EU2000i

Will a Honda EU2000i be large enough to power the B190?

Thanks,

Cheers!

Re: Hellwig sway bar and/or Safe-t-Plus Steering Stabilizer

Hello, The Hellwig front and rear sway bars have been installed, tires replaced (found out they were 13 years old) and 4 new Blistein shocks mounted. Total cost $2055.00 (parts and labor) another disadvantage to being far from home (paying labor rates). The Safe-T-Plus was delivered yesterday and wi...

Re: Thanks!

Skater, I think you are right, our new B190 will probably draw more attention as we travel the back roads to adventure. I guess it's just one of those burdens all Airstream owners must bare. :D We have a couple of years to go before we hit the true Vintage status on out B (1993). No worries there. C...

Re: Thanks!

Hello from fellow new owners, We just brought home our 1993 B190. We are former owners of a 1967 Safari, that was restored minus the exterior polish. For some reason that I can't explain I thought I needed to sell it and move on to the next project, what was I thinking? The moment I saw the new owne...

Re: No Affiliation 1992-93 on Ebay

Yup..... it's ours now...

Did I over pay? Maybe but as you know these are kind of rare and getting harder to find. In my mind a good deal is when both the buyer and the seller walk away happy, and you can't put a price on happiness. In this case we drove away happy.

Cheers!

Re: Hellwig sway bar and/or Safe-t-Plus Steering Stabilizer

Tucsonon I have cancelled the back ordered shocks that I had placed with EShocks. I may have found the elusive Blisteins and reordered them through Amazon. I had to order the front and rears from 2 separate places, both vendors say they are in stock but I won't know for sure until shipping confirmat...

Re: LT265/75R16 load range E

Thank you EricZ.

I appreciate your reply to my request.

This is what I was looking for. May I ask have you noticed a difference between the two tire sizes in relation to handling of your B in all driving conditions?

Cheers!

Re: Hellwig sway bar and/or Safe-t-Plus Steering Stabilizer

Tucsonan, Your few moments of extreme excitement are what we are hoping to avoid. I'm happy to hear no one was hurt or damage done to your rig. I just received word that the Blisteins are on back order, with a estimated delivery date for the 2 rear shocks 02/22/16. Do you know if there are other rec...

Re: LT265/75R16 load range E, help please

Hello,

I realize this is an old thread but, Is there anyone able to post pictures of the trim work needed on the front fenders? We have a 1993 and like the idea of larger tires for a higher load rating safety margin. We plan on pulling a small cargo trailer with kayaks and other gear.

Cheers!

Re: Hellwig sway bar and/or Safe-t-Plus Steering Stabilizer

Thanks SeaQuinn, Right now I have a bit of time to get a few bugs worked out. (even though I'm 6,000 miles away) I am on deployment in the Middle East until mid April, but after hearing Carol's feedback concerning the B190's handling on her trip back home after purchasing the vehicle , and knowing t...

Hellwig sway bar and/or Safe-t-Plus Steering Stabilizer

Hi new guy here this is my first question. back ground: New to us 1993 B190, original suspension currently on board. I have just ordered Blistein shocks and the Hellwig anti sway bars, front and rear. New tire will follow shortly. Suggestions are appreciated. My father-in law said while following be...
