Re: Replacement range vent
The replacement vent now gives us the shutter. And before I installed the vent, I also added window screen on the back side of the vent. That gives us two layers of protection... in case the wasp come back. <smile>

Re: Replacement range vent
This wasp nest may have generated some unwanted guest inside the RV before we bought it! Now I really want to replace the vent with one that has a shutter!

Re: 2012 Winter Project list
1. new range hood vent (have the vent and sealer) I found the exact replacement for the factory vent. It was the best replacement candidate that my search turned up. The one modification that I made was to add house window wire screen to keep the bugs out. The replacement was a breeze since it was ...

Re: 2012 Winter Project list
O.K. here is our project list... We’re going end to end through the B190 that we just purchased. Drivetrain, chassis and RV conversion is in great shape. However, it had been sitting for awhile, so it’s a long list. <smile> Just finished… Thorough cleaning and check of drivetrain, LP & water sys...

Welcome to B190, Swampy.
Glad to have you join us. Considering that there were only a couple thousand B190's made, that is pretty amazing that you found one in the UK! I'll bet you are king of the road when you roll down the highway!
Regards, Kentuckian

Re: I finally got my B-Van....named her Sandy
Congratulations on your new (to your family) RV! Even with some kinks to work out it is a lot of fun. My wife and are in about the same circumstances. Our new ('93) B190... driver compartment AC doesn't work... refrigerator doesn't work. Same as yours! However, everything else in ours works. We do h...

Replacement for waste tank roof vent
Pros : 1. According to the company the construction of the vent creates a mild suction at the roof vent when a breeze flows across it (vehicle stationary or moving). This mild suction draws air from the waste tank reducing potential of unpleasant odors in the cabin. A smoke chamber demonstration vid...

Replacement for waste tank roof vent
We decided to replace the factory vent with the 360 Siphon product from 360productsinc.com. Process : 1. Remove old vent, 2. Scrape off all old sealant, 3. Clean the vent pipe and roof (I used acetone) to remove remaining sealant and any oil and wax that might cause new sealant not to stick. 4. Dril...

Re: Furnace Motor - how to get at it?
Thanks for your great description on how to remove the furnace. The furnace in the B190 that I just bought hasn’t been operated for several years. When I fired up the furnace it worked fine but after a short period of time the fan began making a screeching noise. I pulled the furnace out of the RV a...

Hello from Kentucky!
Hello everyone, We live in central Kentucky and have just purchased a new (to us) 1993 B190. Our B190 has 82k miles and the 7.5L gasoline engine. The chassis, drivetrain and cabins are in great condition. However, the RV needs some TLC to get it back into top condition. We are already having fun wit...
