Re: Replacing the Fresh and Gray Tanks

Prior to 1997 the tanks are completely different, both the fresh water tank & black/grey water tanks are under the rear 1997-2000. From what Mark has described I think his tanks were probably original, the fresh water tank on the 1997 is as low as he describes.....and, within a metal box. Those ...

Re: Walking on roof

The 1997 and later rigs are about 6-plus inches narrower across the top...helps to to be very careful up there staying close to the edges where its somewhat stronger....hands & knees will obviously distribute your weight better. Also that front overhang was reduced by about 20-inch, 1997 and ne...

Re: What are these???!

Better re-think selling the Element if you're going to Colorado....although it doesn't look like it has half-shafts in the rear, therefore 2WD.... Well....we have two identical silver 2008's and have been looking for a 2011, last year they made them...found a very nice one over the weeken...

Re: Need help buying a very ODD B190!!!!

I'd say its an Okanagan...... one of the last ones built in 1990/91 during the turn-over to Airstream.

They only used that color on their rigs back then...

Re: 1997 Airstream B190.....Anacortes Washington

yep.....that carpet section I added over the original which is perfect...just to keep it that way The little swing-table I've added to several rigs, just something I made up myself. It will swing up between the seats. http://alaskandave.smugmug.com/Other/1997-Airstream-B190/i-8bF7dSj/0/S/DSC01007-S...

SOLD...1997 Airstream B190.....Anacortes Washington

Second owner....I purchased her in 2006 from a lady in Bellingham who had kept it inside, as I have done since...and I used it only once. At the time I had two other B190's and now I have moved on to a new 2014 Airstream Interstate...my third since Airstream began producing the vans again on the Sp...

If you have the raised "Airstream" letters on that upper glass....you can carefully remove them the an extended razor-knife and glue them back onto your new front glass

Re: Norcold N300.3 refrigerator

Great write-up...thanks. Of note here is how important it is too to prevent any water that somehow enters the compartment at the outside door from running under the frig and ending up getting the carpet wet. At the factory they sealed around the front of the frig at installation...later they glued i...

Re: Newbie and Generator starting

STARTING FLUID NOT RECOMMENDED... Good suggestions...the carbs on that Onan are very fussy when not used for extended lengths of time. If all else fails you can try this carefully to determine if the carb is plugged somewhere inside from sitting...remove the air cleaner and with a small squirt-bottl...

Re: Upper Window

Airstream should still have them in stock....they have a compound-curve so a flat glass/plastic will not work.

Let us know how that works out... !

Fuel Selector Switch....

Our 1990 & 1991 B190 E350 Ford vans have fuel injection and two fuel tanks, unlike the future E-series vans that have a single fuel tank. Prior to 1990 this same E350 van was equipped with a carburetor. By-the-way, the switch at the base of your dash just switches between the tank gauges, it has...
