The old style hubcaps do have 8 fake lug nuts displayed on them where the new style have 7 displayed....Ford saved a few bucks that way I guess So the 7 hubcap will fit over the 8 lugnuts? I hadn't noticed that my pictures had widened the page, usually 640x480 doesn't do that.... It may not have. B...

I just added a mod that resizes images and trims links so as not to widen the page - both of which happened in this thread. :)

do you get the feeling we're the only ones here ?? Unfortunately. :( I'd like to drum up more support and enthusiasm for the site... OR...here's 2 options: Both of those have only 7 lug nuts, but mine has 8. I'd rather go with those, I like them better... Old Style: Those would work...

(as noted above the first picture the year of each rig) Completely missed that, sorry! :) At its first tire change I changed to the Ford 9" wide wheels to use the Michelin XPS Rib tires and with that came the new style wheel covers... You don't happen to have the original wheel covers d...

Nice lineup!

What year is the third one in the first picture? I ask because it has the newer style of wheels on it, but has the same body style as my '91.

Sorry for the quiet...

Sorry for the quietness, everyone! I've been preoccupied with some issues with my non-driveable house. :) Basically, water is getting into my ductwork (which is under the house) during heavy rains, causing mold issues among other problems. Turns out the property has an incredibly high water table fo...

Thanks for the advice! The 20 amp charger is more than that converter, and it looks like that converter will do everything the charger would but won't take additional space.

Amazon has one on sale for $224 that's probably the one you're talking about.

(Moved to a new thread to make it easier to converse.) I'm a member of the WDCU as well. I was at the Cherry Blossom Rally over the weekend - cold but fun. :) As for expanding the folding sofa, there were some ideas posted a while back in the old message forum - unfortunately I haven't yet been succ...

Doing some more research on this: The 194 bulbs (in the reading lights): 0.25 amps each (total 1 amp in mine) The florescent light: 1.5 or 2 amps Fantastic fan: 3 amps on high Bathroom fan: probably 2 amps (guessing) Radio & Sirius tuner: 2 amps max Outdoor light: probably .5 amps Bathroom light...

I guess my biggest question is whether 10 amps is enough. For 10 amps to be sufficient, that would mean all of the 12-volt appliances I intend to use at the same time would have to add up to less than 10 amps. (It can spike to 15 amps but is rated for 10 amps continuous.) So, Fantastic Fan, radio, b...

Two years and counting!

I occasionally go searching on the net for one, but there are bigger issues to worry about. :) It seems like a lot of sites don't recognize that the front and rear hubcaps on those (well, more correctly, the center cap) are different.

Battery charging

Okay, only one battery down and I'm already tired of the inverter overcharging the deep-cycle battery. It looks like the problem can be fixed with a real controller, and the price of it would offset the price of new batteries pretty quickly, I think. I'm thinking the Xantrex Statpower 10TB would do ...
