Re: 1993 awning opening question
Thanks for the advice, Skater. Yes, that's the same set of instructions I found also. I'll give it another shot.

Re: LT265/75R16 load range E
Hi all,
I have been running a new set of Michelins in this size for a couple weeks. I heartily endorse this size and the tires. I did need to trim the back of the front fiberglass skirts a bit, but it was a small change to get the added width.

1993 awning opening question
Hi all, I am trying to get my awning open for the first time. I have read the past posts, but would still like some direction. My awning says "Dometic Catalina 2100" on the outside. I was able to print a manual for a 2500 off the web. My major problem is the awnings arms do not drop. 1. Wh...

Thanks, Skater. I am trying to keep the loads down on it - just LEDs and occasional furnace fan and monitor the voltage closely. So far so good.

Thanks, B. Amazon reviews look great, but your report is more valuable. I just completed my shore plug upgrade last night and have banished the "black snake" for good.

Small 110v air compressor
Hello to all,
I am shopping for a small air compressor to be used primarily for tire inflation. It does not have to be sized to fit inside the B-190, though that would be a plus.
My most important criteria are reliability and ease of use. What are your recommendations?
Thanks!

'93s get a lot of support on the forum. I'm still in the middle of interior refurbishing, but mechanically my '93 has been a champ. I have 78,000 on the clock. Welcome aboard!

Re: Adding Propane Capacity
Hi Marko, We've been using an Extend-A-Stay with a 5 gallon tank. This would NOT be adequate for cold weather camping or living in the van. Also, after installing and running the EAS, you will not get a meter reading on how much propane you have, as you are pulling gas from the external tank, not th...

Re: Cigarette lighter power source?
Thanks Eric. I'll check both outlets when she gets back from RV rehab. Thanks for the breakdown also.
If you have a 93, what type, make, and model of coach battery are you running? Also have you seen a chart that lays out how many amps each appliance pulls?
Thanks.

Cigarette lighter power source?
Hi there,
Does the cigarette lighter outlet in a 1993 draw off just the coach battery when the ignition is off? Has anyone tried running small amp DC devices off this source?
Thanks!

Did the car battery option work in the long run on a 93?
I have seen some old comments about using an Interstate car battery - C50-XHD - as the house battery in place of a deep cycle in a 1993. Did this solution work out longer term? What was the life of this battery versus a true deep cycle? Has anyone used a slim "electric wheelchair" deep cyc...
