Detachable Power Cord Modification...

My plastic power cord hatch broke the other day. Since I needed to replace the hatch, I took the opportunity to switch over to a detachable shore power cord instead of fighting with stuffing the old 30ft factory attached cable through the power hatch opening to get it into the belly of my B190. The ...

Re: Propane system mystery

Keystone,
I don't have a suggestion on the propane issue. But as for the screeching, the fan motor bearing seems to burn off its oil due to the nearby heat. A few drops of oil to the bearings at each end of the motor housing cured the screeching in my unit.

Re: Cleaning fiberglass top

Second Sail,
Hmmm... I am appreciating your comment that your repaint job made a noticable difference on temperature inside the 190. I may have to add that to the todo list.

That was a big job! I'm not sure mine has enough paint left up there to wax! :)

Re: Nice 1993 Airstream 190 for sale in Oregon with tow vehi

O.K. how about this? Advertise them seperately. But in each add include a photo of the two vehicles setup tow configuration and mention "RV available for sale as well!" and "Tow vehicle available for sale as well!" Good luck with your sale. Sorry to see you having to sell off the...

Re: Replacement range vent

Hi Reddeer,
I found my replacement vent at Bluegrass RV in Lexington, Kentucky. It was hanging on a display in their parts showroom. You might be able to order it at www.bluegrassrv.com or call them at 800.759.9452. Airstream parts department may also be able to direct you to one.

Re: 2012 Winter Project list

Call your FORD dealer's service department and ask them about your '92. The fire hazard can occur even when the vehicle is not running. So this may be something that you want to look into.

Re: Replacement for waste tank roof vent

The vent that I installed is a 360 Siphon product from 360productsinc.com. I wanted to try something different.

One of these might be a replacement for your factory vent... http://www.rvlifestyles.net/c-15610-ven ... teid=10539
