Re: Does Anyone Have a 2000 B190

Don't despair. Go out! Have fun! Search this forum but I really don't think you'll find stories of them being ripped off left and right. Mine was like that and had been driven 45K miles before I bought it. I drive on a lot of dirt roads so it was a concern for me but e aware and be cautious but don'...

Re: Does Anyone Have a 2000 B190

Both my freshwater tank (right behind the rear axle) and the gray tank hung down quite low. Really, the only solution is to order new tanks that are measured to fit right up into the frame. That's what I did and now my tanks are fully protected by the frame. It's not a small job, it's not uncomplica...

Window glazing gasket

I need to replace the glazing gasket (?) on my side window and found this product. http://www.all-rite.com/hehr-glazing-bead-seal It seems to be the right stuff but I'm wondering how well it will curve around the corners and still be water tight. The corner radius seems to be 2 or 3 inches. Thanks

Hot water, Cold water

I just noticed that when I have my water tanked heated, if I have my pump on, I get cold water out of the cold water side. Without the pump on I get hot water. I'm thinking that, without the pump on, the gasket and spring on the cold water side are so weak/worn that they can't engage without the add...

Re: Furniture replacement vs. re-upholstery

Does anyone know where to find the couch/bed frame? I need a lower section since when I get it reupholstered I want to eliminate the fold out snack table.

Re: Furniture replacement vs. re-upholstery

What is a good estimate to re-upholster the couch/bed? I also want to remove the fold out drinks/snacks table since I never use it and it make the bed uncomfortable.

Toilet odor when driving

This has been driving me nuts. Whenever I drive my rig, I usually get toilet oders for the first few minutes, maybe up to 45 minutes. I've changed the vent cap to one of those new suction ones, I'm diligent about tank treatment but still... Just now I watched a vid about keeping in a "water hea...

Re: Instant hot water heater?

I've learned that they raise the water temp about 50 degrees. They have a hard time with very cold water.

Re: Instant hot water heater?

After not searching for very long, I found that yes, there is a tankless heater that will fit into the space the B190 water heater and tank uses. A company called Girard makes it. It costs about $520 and is fairly easy to install. I'm in Mexico till the end of February but I'm going to investigate f...

Is it possible to replace the hot water heater set up in a 1997 B190 with an instant hot water set up?

Re: Replacing the carpet

glued down some nice, tight weave carpet in the cab area and then did "wood" floor in the back. It was easy to do and turned out quite nice.

BTW, I fixed this problem, The light was loose in the socket and not making contact. I jimmied it in there somehow and it lights whenever I want now.
