Re: Generator Location

Yes, they are typically located in an exterior access box under the sofa directly behind the driver's seat. I have seen rear bumper boxes/mounts for Honda generators. Probably much easier than fabricating a box under the sofa?

Re: Bench Seat and Seat belts attachment

The seatbelts are bolted to large bolts that go clean through the metal floor in my '94. My benchseat was screwed to the wooden subfloor.

Re: Tip of the day - entry step

I have used this for several years and am happy with it: http://www.harborfreight.com/step-stoolworking-platform-62515.html After forgetting to remove my prior one twice and running over it I found the above at Harbor Freight. Folds up nicely to throw in behind passenger seat for easy access. Phil ...

Re: B190 database

Hi Skater, here are the numbers for my 1994 Ford - 1FDJS34G8RHA83291 Airstream - 1B9KGVA21RJ300789 She was purchased new in Nokomis Fla. and spent most of it's time in Louisiana then Mississippi. I purchased her in 2013 in Mississippi, and drove her out to Sahuarita, AZ. Currently, I am slowly resto...

Re: Wanted B190

If you decide to move the cooktop to the passenger side, and keep the exhaust hood over it, ... be mindful of your awning. It will probably be in the way of your exhaust vent. ...Or, maybe a two burner cooktop might not need an exhaust hood? Later versions of the B190 put the stove the curbside. Th...

Re: The gray running boards

That is a neat find! I would quickly coat them with a sealer. Armor-all or something like it.

I do know from past experience that alcohol can "craze" polymer surfaces and cause them to age quickly.

The fold down section looks like it can be "fixed" into place easy enough, ...if not, I have a Frame in Southern AZ.

Re: Furniture replacement vs. re-upholstery

Does anyone have any idea on how to remove the existing couch? Mine has seen better days and I would like to replace it. It was pretty easy on my '94. It was just 4 bolts if I remember correctly. The back one are easily accessed by removing the drawer and reaching from inside. For the front two, I ...
