Re: Replacing built-in cord with extension cord?

I did this with my 93. Cost from the dealer, parts and labor 240.85-- 1 hours labor, $85.89 for the outlet, $37.03 for the female connector added to the existing cord. Much better system! You can do this yourself fairly easily. The outlet did not match up to the old outlet hole exactly (there were 2...

North to Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine-- the farther north you go, the less people-- Vermont and Maine have incredible hiking, lakes, Maine shoreline-- Maine also has Acadia National Park

Re: Vent beside the toilet

I have a 93 as well, seems like you are describing the heater. The thermostat on mine is on the wall above the fridge, there is an on/off switch on the bottom and the usual temperature set on top. Working correctly, when it turns on, it should produce heat (a healthy amount) in a matter of minutes, ...

Re: Can this vent be closed?

PS, if the flap is not there, these vents are very common and should be available at your local RV place, or certainly online. They are not terrible difficult to replace, but you may not have to replace the entire vent, just remove the flap from the new vent, and install it on the vent currently in ...

Re: Can this vent be closed?

There should be a plastic flap with small tabs that lock it down when not in use. If it was not locked down and the van was taken on the highway, it could easily have been lost on the highway,

Re: motor scooter

I installed a hitch on the front of the van. Currently I use it for a storage box, but have plans this summer to purchase a scooter and use the front hitch mount. problems with the back are the tire mount, but also dragging in an out of driveways. I have to use a "z"bar if I use the rear h...

I thought I would try the compressed air method this year, but chickened out in the end. I was nervous about getting all the water out, especially concerned about getting the water out of the pump. Curious to to hear if you have to do anything special to get the water out of the pump.

yes, you need to replace it with one designed to run on a 12 volt system in a camper (or boating) system. There may be a couple of choices from the rv supplier, something off the shelf from Walmart is most likely not going to work.

93 here, with a factory outside tire carrier. All is well from my end too. Couple of things to note: if you use your rear hitch for bikes or a carrier, you will likely need to get an extender. With a carrier back there, I also have to use a "z" bar, or the carrier can drag on driveways. La...

Glad you got a quick answer. One note, on my 93, up is for AC, down is for Microwave. The van is not set up electrically to run both at the same time.

Spent 2 weeks touring PEI, Nova Scotia and Cape Bretton. PEI is great, especially if you like the beach, northern beaches are beautiful with warm, warm water. However, if you are going to make the trip to the Canadian Provinces, I would strongly recommend budgeting time to visit these wonderful lands.
