I rec'd the rebuilt part I ordered from Bill Jenkins@ Team Ford but it had a different PT# on it than the F4TZ.....number. The part came from an outfit called AutoComp Technologies. I did an internet search and I called them directly. They assured me that the part is the same as the original. (in fa...

Upper bunk headbanger
To prevent banging to your head on the lower edge of the upper bunk as you enter the cab from the inside, get some foam pipe insulation and slip it over the wood. You may still hit your head but it won't hurt. The upper edge of the bunk can also be done in the same manner, saving your knees from bru...

Faded Bubble top
After a couple of years searching for a product to "shine" a badly faded fiberglass top, I finally found an easy to apply, effective product that cuts through the oxidation and puts some temperory protection on the top. The product is called GEL-GLOSS. It's the best thing I've tried. I fol...

Shower area improvements
For those of you who have peeling paper in the shower area, this suggestion may help to improve the appearance. I have ordered one through him (remanufactured) and am awaiting the part. Thanks to all for your...

I contacted Bill Jenkins at Team Ford yesterday and gave him the part # for my PCM on the 94 B-190, # F4TF-12A650-YA. He said it was unavailable and discontinued and said an alternate # was F4TZ-12A50-YA. Unfortunately he couldn't find that one anywhere in the system either. I also checked a nationw...

Propane expansion
After I fill my propane tank, when the weather is hot, I sometimes get an explosive sound and smell propane. I figure expansion takes place as the atmosphere heats up and the tank automatically releases the excess gas. (although the explosive sound is disconcerting). Is there a relief valve on the t...
