Makes sense...

I checked the site and figured that was what they did. Looking at the tank now, you can't tell if anything has been added or if it was "original". Will do the "shake test" and keep an eye on it.

Thanks.

Gas level for cut off?

What is the cut off level on the gas tank to keep the generator from running you dry?

Still trying to start up on my new purchase. The gauge shows 1/4 tank... will not fill up until I get through with some other chores...

I think running the wire from the roof might be hardest part, if you do go with the permanent installation. I was considering using the existing coax... I had thought about the ladder mount. Another option is using the smaller marine version and one of the pedestal mounts like you can see at: www.w...

Antenna?

Anyone come up with anything other than that so called luggage rack antenna? Don't want to install the crank up type... Have been thinking about this type: http://www.winegarddirect.com/viewitem.asp?p=WD-SMS2000 Have used it on boats and have it at home for when the cable goes out. It picks up equal...

Comparison

OK, I looked at the AC panel on the 190 and the motor home. Both have a 30 amp main. The MH then has a series of 20 amp breakers for the other circuits with the AC and Microwave on separate circuits. As I mentioned, the only time I have trouble is when the TV is on (separate 20 amp circuit) and some...

Went with heavy duty

I talked with a tech at Shockwarehouse (Isn't if great when you can't talk to the manufacturer?). He said for our application the heavy duty is what we want. Same price - extra dampening should eliminate some sway. Will report back when I get them installed. BTW - lucked into an extra 5% off by orde...

Thanks...

Both of those posts are really helpful. Will get around to seeing what can be done... if anything.

Other fish to fry first.

Sincerely,

Don't understand...

I am going to have to really look at this. The other Airstream (the motor home) was 30 amp and you could have the AC and the microwave both going at the same time... no switch like on the B190. Now, if you had the TV on too, it would probably pop the breaker. Is there a collection of wiring diagrams...

OK... I'm past the Rancho 9600's I put on my last truck. I used it with a slide in camper and needed the adjustability. Looking now at what Bilstein has to offer for the E350. Take a look at this example from Shock Warehouse: http://www.shockwarehouse.com/index.cfm?mode=results&selected_model=39...

OK, I'm in...

I will be taking delivery on a well loved but high milage 1995 tomorrow. Here is the first of my questions until I really get under the hood. Shocks have not been replaced since around 1997 when a trip to Alaska did the suspension in. They are OK, but if you were going to replace them, what would yo...

Greetings

I've been a reader for a while and will be making a decision this next week on adding a B190 to the Airstream stable next week. I currently have a 2003 30' LY MH and I am considering a 1995 B190 that I have located. Although the milage is high, I feel like I am getting a good deal. If it goes throug...
