Ebay: 1988 Rialto looks like the B190. Great condition!

$8500 OBO seems like a fairly good price. Only thing is it has a smaller engine. Not sure if this matters.

Propane Tank replacement or certification?

Hi guys, Our propane tank looks dangerously rusty. I have almost no experience with propane systems so I want to make sure it's safe before trying to use. First off is there a way to drain the propane tank so that I can safely work on it or just not be driving around with a hazard? Are there service...

Simple Schematic of RV Plumbing

Here is a simple diagram of how the plumbing system works. There is a check valve w/ a pressure regulator at the city water inlet and a check valve on the water pump. It's really straight forward, but it took me a little bit of time to figure it out so I'm sure someone else was wondering the same th...

Finding replacement parts and complete van rebuild?

I couldn't find a category for B190 restores or modification, to see where people are getting parts or how they are rebuilding ones which have no interior, so I'm posting here for now. I've found the largest selection on Ebay RV parts for replacements. However, as I'm sure many know already "fi...

Re: Moving Toilet for "Wet Bath" Arrangement

I've thought of doing about the same thing. Need room for surfboards etc... Instead, I think we're going to be using the shower area as a place to hang or store wet beach gear and storage. I've seen some campers with upright storage bins on the back which hold surfboards and tons of other gear. They...

Steering wheel shorting out turn signals?

I have a brand new turn signal assembly which has been double-checked for proper seating andwiring. The turn signals work great until I put the steering wheel on. The back of the steering wheel is shorting out on a turn signal contact. Any ideas electrical tape just rubs right off or gets nicked. An...

Re: Ford Conversions and Hightops

Only made in Europe, but a cool layout. Of course, not as good as a B190 :) https://www.hymercar.com/en/models/hyme ... aeume.html

Re: Main fuse in a 90's van, No power to ignition?

It's a 1990. I think I found the problem and it isnt fuse related. Going through the troubleshoot process I did find out that about half of the fused circuits have no power with the ignition off/ not working. Turns out there is a main harness ignition switch a little bit down the steering column whe...

Main fuse in a 90's van, No power to ignition?

I was messing around with the turn signals and steering column(due to the steering wheel causing a short with the right turn signal on) and now have no power whatsoever to anything. Just before that everything worked. I was wiggling the column around quite a bit so it's possible to have a loose conn...

Running the rooftop a/c while driving?

Is it possible to do this if I were to put lug it into an inverter?

Would the alternator keep up?

Re: Auxilary Battery Relay?

I figure it out. Googled Ford battery relay and found out that it's just a dual battery separator. I haven't tested it yet but the + leads go on opposite sides and it appears would connect only when the ignition is on for charging the aux. battery. The heavy wire going away from it towards the small...

Bench Seat and Seat belts attachment

I'm reinstalling the bench seat and am wondering if it is fixed to the floor or wood frame? Is this bolted through the floor? Finally are the seats belts bolted to the bench or the floor? I'm trying to make is safe for a car seat if that's even legal. Otherwise I have to add an extra passenger seat....
