Re: Table and Ladder.

I just bought my 1993 B190 2 days ago.....and wondered if anyone every actually used the table that you can attach in front of the sofa? I just can imagine getting that thing out and using it...and I can find anywhere to store it either. Where do you put it? Also....where do you store the ladder???...

A...

I switched mine over to synthetic at over 110,000 miles, no problem. Switched my Cougar at 80,000 miles, no problem. Switched the Impala at 30,000 miles, no problem. Personally, I think the stories about synthetics and higher mileage engines are a myth - the engine fails, and people want to find som...

Skater.....wow.....thanks for the information....it's so valuable to me. To note one thing you said: I did start and drive the B-190...and tried to start the generator with the engine running, and it didn't start.....so I was unaware that it should switch over to the 12v after started. When I drove...

I'm new to the board...but from what I've read, the 460 motor with 174.000 (providing it's received regular service and used on road miles)...should be good for many more miles. Any info or experience on that? The 460 does have a very good reputation. If you look on FTE.com (Ford Truck Enthusiasts)...

There are a couple people here that are WBCCI members, but not many. WBCCI has its ups and downs. I suggest getting with a unit that you like - I'm in the Washington, DC unit (WDCU), which prides itself on being the rebel unit. Some units are very formal, while others are more laid back. Finding the...

The awning arm may be repaired! A friend of mine took on the challenge of repairing it. We used an engine hoist to separate the pieces (the spring in those are fairly strong), then we mangled the metal back into the rough shape it's supposed to be in. He then welded two aluminum backing plates on th...

Welcome, Joan! My carpeting is pretty rough, so I've looked at the floor tiles that look like a wood floor (a real wood floor wouldn't be a good idea for me). I think it'd be pretty easy to do, too, and not very expensive. Outstanding issues for me: --What about the carpeting on the doors? Mine is p...

Verdict: mine isn't a Fiamma awning. Apparently Dometic was making them, then contracted out to Fiamma at some point (apparently after the 1991 model year), and he thought they were now building their own again. (Thought the Fiamma FAQ states that they make the A&E Horizon awnings. ) Drat. So my...

Ah, yes, thank you. I saw the earlier post but forgot to look. I just called Bob - he wasn't able to determine my model over the phone but he's going to fax me something shortly that will hopefully help me distinguish the model. He's quite helpful - I like that. On a side note, I do intend to incorp...

Bad news: the spring arms for mine are no longer available. :(

Anyone have any ideas, short of buying a new awning?

Okay, it looks like I need three parts: --The awning arm (no surprise there) --The main housing end plate - it looks like the upper screw sheared the side of the end plate (actually, I think it may have been that way - but I figure it's not worth the risk of having the awning pop apart on the road s...
