Re: Buying it back...

Was there any insulation under the bed frame? Looks like there is an inch or two there where some could go, no? Yes, you could definitely put some there. I originally rebuilt the bed years and years ago, and I don't recall if there was insulation there originally or not (and for all I know it could...

Re: B190 database

https://b190.com/download/file.php?mode=view&id=1602 I just purchased my 1990 B190 in August of 2022 in Hot Springs , AR. Here is a photo of the info on it. Yours is kind of interesting - it's a 1990 chassis, but a 1991 Airstream VIN. In other words, when they built yours in the 1991 Airstream ...

Re: Somebody bought the NASA Airstream

Nice! There are at least two of these; the one in Florida is at the Saturn V museum in Kennedy Space Center, I think.

Re: Buying it back...

I just put the DS window back in my van this weekend. I had to frame out the surround with wood in order to provide enough resistance for the inside clamping ring to pull the window tight against the outside of the van. Same issue, first try I had a lot of gaps around the flange, once I supported t...

Re: Buying it back...

Installed the new third brake light today! Tried to reinstall the window...did not go well. Removed it again. The fiberglass is a bit curved in the area, so the corners of the window were out away from the top. Gonna have to think about this. Might have to do one of my wood "frames" around...

Re: Airstream Westfalia

Neat!

Maybe it's just the lighting, but the ceiling of the front of the bunk looks like it might be getting wet. I might just be paranoid though.

Re: Insulation discussion

Are you still planning to use this?

I recently learned about Rockwool, which is stone wool and apparently somewhat resistant to mold, etc. Just curious if you're familiar with it and your thoughts on it, especially compared to the Havelock Wool.

Re: Remodel of my 1996

Your rig looks a lot like mine right now. :) The original ceiling floats in the rig, I'm not sure why AS made it that way, if anyone has any rationale for that design I would appreciate your input before I start screwing these panels into the supports. Because it's faster and easier and therefore ch...

$95k? At that price I can't afford NOT to buy it!

Previous listing here. Looks like someone bought it, did the 4x4 conversion, and is now selling it.

Re: Light over sink

I am in need of the entire light fixture not just the bulb. Also, I can’t get a good picture of mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The problem is, mine doesn't have such a fixture, so I have no idea what you're looking at. I didn't think any of them did, but I could be wrong about that. Unles...

Ah. No, I want to screw the luan to those ribs. Or add some nailers to them and screw the luan to that.
Yep, either one of those would work!
