Re: Buying it back...

Mee too. I read an old Post about it, but a fresh track on this would be great

Re: front engine noise

Anybody done this? What do you spray... Or does it matter? Silicon? WD? Obviously, avoid the belt itself. I too have a (not too urgent sounding) bearing (or something) sound coming from the front of the engine bay. I've been meaning to put a stethoscope on it Sent from my Moto G Play using Tapatalk

Re: Shower demo water re route

I gotta say I think that tub is goofy too. I bought a suction cup shower head cradle kyna like the one in the picture. Longer hose, and now I can snake it out the back window and stick the shower head to the outside of the rig. We just use that tub for storage and hanging wet items. https://uploads....

Re: Doghouse

I put these fold down boat cup holders on the glove box door of our 92. They hold big vessels and fold out of the way when not in use. Put a strain on the door, though. Hat to add a cable to keep it from releasing and dumping when you go over bumps. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171030/594f377c...

Re: Accessing water pump

I have a '90 - the water pump is next to the water heater - which is under the "bump" in the closet. So, yes, you need to disassemble the closet. The pumps do go bad... which is a bummer... but they're not too expensive or difficult to replace (once you get to it). I replaced mine with an...

Re: The roof. Paint

Conklin makes a roll on rubber membrane roof that I used years ago on a travel trailer with success. The main thing is prep. http://accentstripes.com/Rapid_Roof.html Got the Monstaliner chips today and toner for some of the colors - I have a gallon of tintable base leftover from the sprinter roof. ...

The roof. Paint

I pulled the trigger on Monstaliner for the roof of the rig. I have used this product on the roof of my work rig to fix a leak caused by some electric ladder racks and I am really happy with the results. Air2D2 has flaking paint on the top and it's visible on the front of the rig and really diminish...

Re: 1950 miles, for the solar eclipse

ZachS looks like your taking everything but the kitchen sink. One thing about the 190's storage isn't plentiful. I like the hitch rack but do you really need 15 gallons of extra fuel is it really worth the risk of your family. Im not trying to tell you what to do by any means just aware of the risk...

Re: 1950 miles, for the solar eclipse

Just completed a fantastic trip, 1950 round trip miles from MA to SC to catch the solar eclipse. Van was nearly perfect (ignition module acted up some, but never left us stranded for more than 10 minutes). The eclipse was breathtaking, and exceptional experience. Ran into another B owner in a campg...

Re: What did you name your camper?

A lot of R2 units out there! We came up with Air2d2. Sperm whale is definitely the funniest though. Oh gawd I howled when I read that.

Re: New member in Washington

Hi All We just purchased a 92 in Boise on June 30th and we are quite smitten with her so far. Turns out she might be kind of a cream puff. Clean history. 4 owners, but one was the dealer that took her on trade (kept it for 2 years), and another was the son (or relative with the same last name) of t...

Re: The gray running boards

Mine were in good shape when I got the rig, but one side was weathered down to white fiberglass on 1 side. It really diminished the appearance of the outside. Once I saw how easy it was to take off the skirts, I decided a quick and dirty cosmetic cover was worth a try. I found a good match in "...
