Re: Replaced Propane Regulator, now have low pressure.

You might have an obstruction in your burner. It doesn't take much, even a spider web will do it. If the stove burns blue flame I suggest you try cleaning the burner assembly and adjusting air to propane adjustment first on the refridge. Should fine a link under appliances on this site or just do a ...

Re: shields up!

Are you spending any time in Cruces? I lived there and could pass along some sites. BTW I use the same stuff, even cut one out for the Fantastic fan. I've spent some cold nights in the high desert and I think it really works.

Re: Inition coil

Forgot to mention that I found a separated wire that attached to a radio capacitor I believe and is mounted on one of the coil posts(to ground). It was easy to solder a new wire on and splice it in.

Re: Inition coil

Since the tach uses the negative wire on the ignition I decided to install it while I had the coil out. I bought a Bosch Sport ii for about $50 I think and pleased how it all came out. Now to find out what Red Line is for a 460 and what the best power range is.

Re: Inition coil

I finally got around to installing my coil. I decided to go with an original Ford Motorcraft since the original had lasted almost 30 years and the aftermarket reviews were up and down. Since I had bought a tach earlier I decided it would be a good time to hook that up a well since it uses the negati...

Re: Leaking propane out the fill valve

This is an update to my original post, also posted on FB site. I think the "O" ring replaced in 2016 failed because I didn't use silicone gease. Should have lasted more than 6 years I think. Here is the new info from lastest repair There have been a few posts about propane leaking from the...

I am still working on it and will take a pic of the process in a few days. Looks easy, just have to decide which brand to buy.

Ignition coil

I've replaced plugs, wires, rotor and cap on my 91 and noticed the terminal on the coil was quite corroded. It looks original so thinking of replacing that. Amazon has an MSD Street Fire replacement for $40 and it is suppose to deliver a hotter spark over stock. Just wondering if anyone has any tips...

Re: Tips for spark plug removal?!?

I finally got brave enough to tackle replacing the cap, rotor, wires and plugs. I bought everything last Fall and put it off till just last week, not wanting to leave the van disabled before winter trip. It was as hard as described in previous posts but it is done and runs. There weren't pictures po...
