Re: Propane Tank replacement or certification?

Hi all! I just replaced the 24-yr-old propane tank on my 1994. It was pretty rusty, and was often overfilled by attendants unfamiliar with our old-style tanks. The best match I found in a new tank is the Manchester 6814, which is 10”x32” and 7.9 gal. It’s a bolt-on replacement, and meets today’s ASM...

Re: House battery not charging from alternator

Re: House battery not charging from alternator

I had this problem in my 94, and found the solution in Planck’s old thread called,Secrets of the 92-96 auxiliary battery set up. “https://b190.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=714 Don’t know if it’s the same in your ‘90, but this thread is worth a read. Planck found a fuse box in the engine compartment t...

Re: Shower/Tub rehab of Keystone's '94 van

Keystone, do you have any advice on removing the wallpaper? Your rehab looks so nice I am going to try it on mine. How did you get the wallpaper off? Do you think the spray epoxy paint would be easier than rolling it on? For removing the wallpaper, I used one of those round scoring tools made for w...

Re: Shower/Tub rehab of Keystone's '94 van

Keystone, I know this is an old post but it has given me new inspiration. Thanks for this post. Now I know what to do with my decrepit looking tub. How is the epoxy holding up over these years? Hey, thanks for the kind words. The epoxy is holding up great except for a few small dings from careless ...

Re: Buying it back...

Fabric looks great, Skater. Have you two found a supplier for the automotive grade webbing/elastic that loops through the plastic sliders on the curtains? My curtains were re-done maybe 9 years ago by the P.O. and the webbing is giving out. Thinking it was not the UV-stabilized stuff... Sent from my...

Re: What Did You Get For Your B190 Today?

I put in the 35-A converter years ago. It has operated flawlessly all this time. My 6-year-old coach battery is still going strong, in part, I'm sure, because I always keep the van on shore power whenever it's in the driveway. Two thumbs up for the 35!

BuddyR,
Looks super shiny. Nice work! What products did you use on the blue vinyl strip that belts the top and bottom halves of the fiberglass top? Mine is discolored.

Re: Propane Tank replacement or certification?

I found a great local Amerigas vendor that is my go-to resource for such expertise. They are not all helpful, so phone around until you find a good one. Good luck!
