I went ahead and removed, prepped, and painted the door panels. Wow! What a difference! I got the paint at O'Reilly's for about $8.00.

I need to remember to take before and after pictures.

I haven't seen the decal on the front window. I don't have one. Does anyone have a picture?

Correcting the tire pressure made a big difference for me, even with the old tires. I bought new wider tires that made it even better. Installing heavy duty shocks made a difference too. The steering still feels sloppy.

Shocks? Sway bar(s)?

Well, I went ahead and got tires today. I went with the BFG All Terrain KO2- 265/75/16 on all 4. They talked me out of getting 245 in front and 265 in back at the tire store. I am getting mixed reviews on installing a steering stabilizer. Have you found good prices on replacing the tires (and back wheels)? Have you decided what to buy? The article you shared has made me decide to make the change sooner than later. No more trips until I make the change.

Was it the increased height or the increased width of your new tires that made it necessary to trim the wheel well? I wonder if I could go a little wider without needing to trim the wheel well.

Shop4seats.com has jump seats. They also sell sets of 3 seats with the center one that folds down. If they sell just the center seat that might be what you are looking for.
