Re: Upgrading Headlights & Adding Fog Lights

what a beautiful rig. I am planning on doing very little night driving or early morning where dark. Although, this looks like a great upgrade should a decision be made to improve vision.

Re: Before I add SOLAR...

I have a working generator on my very stock & original 1995 B190, but I'm also going to add solar. Before I do, I'm trying to read as much as possible. I've read some great ideas and advice in this forum. Some of the posts regarding solar & batteries are fairly old, so since technology is c...

Re: B190 database

Thank you for the up to date info. I did have many airstreamers that were "touring" the B190 asking a specific question about numbers. So my comment of around 1200 of them made was low and actually more like 1393. I will provide better intel next Airstream gathering and especially at Alumi...

Re: Water coming up through carpet

Will do. I just do not want to believe that the fresh water tank is the issue. So, I am going to try many things before that conclusion. Thanks! Good news that this long road to Colorado for me this summer and fall has the list of things needing attention are getting smaller and smaller. Once things...

Re: Water coming up through carpet

And, the water leak continues. Have replaced the faucet complex in the kitchen sink area and that does not leak from the hot water knob/line. The shower area does not leak like Eamonn discusses in his previous posts since I got that taken care of and I bought this rig from him. I am very suspicious ...

Re: front trailer hitch

Got one for my 1999 b190 at the Uhaul Store. Class II . They had a coupon and I recall the hitch and installation was under $200.00. I use it for a hitch cage or the bike rack. The Stowaway Box always goes on the rear hitch so the radiator isn't blocked of air flow for these beasts :) I have an opp...

Would love to see what the switch looks like in the cab area if anyone has a photo showing the tank 1 or tank 2 of gas.

Re: 1993 B190 for sale in North Carolina sold

Glad you sold your camper and others can join the B190 Airstream family. I went to an Airstream Mountain Air Gathering this weekend in Hiawassee, Georgia. The B190 is welcomed and the tour part of the weekend gave me a chance to show off the B190 to many Airstreamers that had never seen one.

Re: Curtains Shower Curtain and Bathroom accordion 1989

Hi Guys! I've owned multiple Airstreams in the past and loved using Airstream forums so I was thrilled to discover this site! I recently acquired my first B190 and its a 1989 with 88K miles. I'm going in phases and will be posting more as things come up. Any suggestions regarding interior curtains,...

Re: 1993 B190 for sale in North Carolina

I hope you get what you are asking for this nicely kept 1993 B190. No doubt you have that much money in the camper and someone would like a nice rig for that amount of money. Good Luck! Had the generator been on board and working it would have been reasonable for you to ask $18,000. No, I am not und...

That is a nice result with the captain chair covers. Love the cultural accent. A nice job was done by the artisan and curious if you have a blog of your Mexican adventure.

Re: Gasoline smell

This is the resolution(I hope) of the ongoing mystery with the gasoline smell. I have tried not topping off the tank when filling up which was a suggestion but, still that lingering smell. As told before in a previous post, I bought a new gas cap which an RV service place suggested to no avail. It w...

Re: Whats it worth?

Well if I am wanting to be honest, I have paid way more for improvements and upgrades than the camper is worth on the open market. To me, I have spent what is necessary to revive. That being said and in contrast to my conservative financial thinking in my life, this camper checks the basic living sk...

Re: Heads up Lookers! Nice 1997 on eBay -Auction

Saw this on the B190 Facebook page...maybe, they are starting to price these rigs to their real value and not just motor value by mainstream. Let's see what happens. 1995 FORD AIRSTREAM`~LOW MILES $19,900 Columbus, OH AIRSTREAM 190 19'8" OVERALL LENGTH 6'8" WIDTH 8 FT 6" TALL 6920 LBS...

Re: Opening and closing the awning

When I take the camper in for a repair and I see them leaving the side door open for long periods of time I start to cringe. Thanks for the info about taking the bulb out. Perhaps, a screen room outside the camper not depending on leaving the door open at all of I planned on camping in an area for ...
