Re: 1990 in San Diego project $6600

You’re welcome. The AZ one on eNay also has one, but it’s faded 30 year old dot matrix.

Re: 1990 in San Diego project $6600

Hi Skater,

Did you note the VIN? I think I saw this one when it was for sale by the PO.

Re: Fridge removal woes

For me, it’s lack of experience with it. Also, the debate over driving with it or not.

Where are you located?

How is the inside? Someone might be interested in it as a fixer upper.

Re: Fridge removal woes

Thanks, the electrical is something I can never wrap my brain around. The lead installer on my solar was an electrical engineer. Making things even more hilarious, he kept trying to talk to my male friend about the system. My friend was just around to keep me company and help with physical stuff bec...

Re: Fridge removal woes

I’d love to know how this is working! I’d like to use a regular dorm fridge in mine. I have 270 AH batteries and thinking of doubling that in February. Only 150 watts of solar, couldn’t fit the second panel. Bought 39” square, hope to add either skinny ones in back or portable/flexible panels later....

Re: My B is weird

Thanks. As it turned out, my SIL deployed, so my mom is watching the grandkids and I’m housesitting. So I’ve delayed my departure by about a year. This worked out well. I had a financial setback in the spring, plus a repair (bad fuel got into both tanks and generator), plus new tires, plus 3 new bat...

Re: Older unit in California

Good price. Wondering what year is accurate. Says 1991, but 1998 engine. Typo for 1990?

Buying it back...

That’s what was wrong with mine. The rear tank fuel was bad. We didn’t smell it and filled both tanks. Then we flipped the tank selector and apparently left it on the rear. Had to replace both fuel pumps. Also affected the generator, which isn’t working again yet. If yours has twin tanks thats what ...

Re: New bathtub

Great upgrade! I just assumed I wouldn’t use my tub and here’s one more reason. The list of future updates is growing.

Well done!

Re: found listing in Arizona 1990 e350 460

The guy I bought mine from said he got all kinds of CL flakes. Fortunately, he happened upon another B190 owner who told him about the site. People know about the vehicle and want it specifically. Couldn’t be happier and felt comfortable with him right away. Wish you luck, Beancounter. Sounds better...

Re: found listing in Arizona 1990 e350 460

My 1990 has some similarities, but lots of differences: - no drawer and door under the closet - TP holder is on the tub - has three doors in the driver’s side overhead cabinet - microwave is above fridge - open space and cabinet above that - no handles or drawer pulls - sink isn’t sideways, tall fau...

Re: 1990 Airstream Camper Van

Asking out of curiosity/ignorance, not sarcasm, but why does WBCCI eligibility matter to you? I know it’s a thing and they have gatherings, but what makes it a dealbreaker? Skater - No worries. I see it as all a part of my learning experience. Since this was so important to me (that this B190 was ac...

Re: Replacement Sink?!?

I will it will not be until summer or fall. Round one was the purchase. This round is mechanical repairs and a few cosmetics (backsplash, floors). Round three will probably be oven (just have 2 burners), sink, and counter, maybe a tilt steering wheel and new radio. I wanted the toilet/tub, but now t...
