Good info. I think most of the noise from mine is the fact that it resonates in that box, rather than the exhaust, though. But I might already have the resonator... I hate to think that I could've replaced the carb for $138 and saved $2200, though. I'm going to choose to believe a carb wouldn't have...

Hehe. I was considering getting 4THECAT for mine as a joke, because (a) I travel with my cat, and (b) I usually tow a Mercury Cougar with it. :) Never got around to it, though, and I didn't want people to think that I was a crazy cat person that bought a camper for his cat (not sure why I care, thou...

Hi Skater, On the occassions that I have used the van in the cold temps, I've only used the furnace or the heater option with the air conditioner. I've not had a chance to stay in a place with electric hookups so I don't know about the heater. One thing I do though, is to hang an extra sleeping bag...

Winter camping...

Anyone else doing the winter camping thing in their B190s? I'm going on a trip in December (conveniently paid for by my employer - it's a work trip). I just tested the furnace - it works! - and the heat strip, and I'll take an electric heater along. Probably temps between the high 20s and low 40s fo...

Re: heater warms for 5-10 min. than cool air

Thanks again to Skater for nudgeing me in the right direction on my heater problem. I removed and cleaned most of the contacts/terminals and blew with forced air through the reverse end of small vacume ( not compressed air as that may be to much force on delicate wiring/parts etc; ) along computer ...

I'm thinking a problem with the furnace. There are a couple things that come to mind: 1. My parents had problems with both furnaces in their camper where in it would work correctly for one cycle, then it would just blow cold air when it cycled on again. I don't think that matches your problem, thoug...

Welcome to the site! Good to hear that all that stuff has been replaced - it sounds like they've already taken care of some of the major issues you might encounter! We have a number of members in the Virginia area - we really should schedule a weekend next summer where we all go camping together. :)

I think the "air pump" is same part as Skater & Craigmar discussed above as "idle air intake valve". Please post what you find out, as I plan to repair mine myself before next trip in the spring. The term "air pump" usually refers to a belt-driven pump that pushes ...

First, welcome to the forums! My theory is that the Throttle Air Bypass Valve is bad. The Throttle Air Bypass Valve (also called the "Idle Air Intake Valve") is a device on the upper intake manifold that allows air into the intake when your foot is off the gas and the engine is idling. The...

Re: Chassis (Left) Battery drain

I have a chassis (LEFT) battery problem of going dead in my '94 Bvan. I find that I have a wire connected to the Auxiliary Battery Relay that shows to be the problem. Because I have no wiring diagram for this chassis I'm at a loss. The wire is a lighter guage yellow wire that goes into a harness wi...

Beware of Scammers

Other forums I'm on have had people who were selling stuff get private messages from scammers about the items for sale. The messages are pretty obviously scams - asking for your bank details and similar info. If you get such a message through this site, please let me know and I'll deal with it. Than...
