Re: Electrical system background
Actually the refrigerator runs off the house battery NOT the ignition battery. The 12v mode of the refrigerator will not engage unless the ignition is running. This is controlled by a relay located under the couch which senses that the ignition is engaged. The power seat also runs off the house batt...

Re: House Battery turffle shuffle
My 93 B190 also uses the Interstate Batteries C50-XHD. This battery is fairly pricey, about $150, and has a 60 amp hour capacity. This is a group 50 battery and is not easy to find. It's not available at Sears and is special order at most auto parts stores. Most people in this forum try to eliminate...

Re: Refrigerator 12v ignition sense wiring
Sorry to hear your still having problems. One of the things I noted with my Dometic is there are no lights to indicate that it is running. On my unit the control knob positioning is critical to get it to run. It has to be positioned just right or it won't operate. You might try playing around with t...

Re: 12V Fridge connection
In my 93 I have a 5 pin relay. Terminal number 87 is hot when the ignition is running. The b190 uses this terminal to power the fridge. Terminal 87a is hot when the ignition is not running. To create an always on circuit you should be able to wire 87 and 87a together and use the existing wire runnin...

Re: Refrigerator 12v ignition sense wiring
I never did track the issue with the ignition sense wire on the relay down before I put my RV into storage for the winter. When I started looking at the issue again after checking all the connections and unplugging and plugging in all the relay connections in the spring, the relay began working corr...

Re: 12V Fridge connection
I just removed my microwave to replace it. Now that it is out I can tell you that there are a lot of wires where the microwave was. I'm sure you can find an existing circuit and ground there. I'm assuming your microwave is located directly above the fridge. This would be the easiest place to grab a ...

Here is the approach I used. You may find the wiring diagrams helpful. I'm happy to answer any questions you have along the way. Good luck!

Re: Seat Belt In the way at side entrance
This is an awesome idea! Thanks for posting it. I never have anyone who tides with me so this is perfect. If I did, you could simply slide the belt out of the S hook and it would return yo it's normal position.
Thanks.
Mike
Thanks.

Re: Trailer Wiring, No Power,Fuses?
I stumbled across this diagram once and decided to save it just in case I needed it. image.jpg It may help you. To test you will need a test light or multimeter. You simply need to tur the ignition to the on position and start cycling through turn signals, brake, lights, etc to determine what's work...

Re: MPG
I have a 7.5 liter gas 93 B190. Over the last 5 years I've put about 30,000 miles on the vehicle driving mainly from and to the west coast from Kansas City through Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Northern California, Washington, and Montana. I've been up mountains, crossed the high d...

Re: Holding Your Campsite During the Day
Interesting that you should bring this up. I spend the summer out on the Oregon coast staying in Oregon state parks. Sometimes the only thing I will leave in my campsite is a blue storage tub containing my grill and miscellaneous grilling equipment, nothing else. On a couple of occasions I've return...

Re: Microwave removal
I am able to lift it straight up from the inside and it's definitely not attached to anything. It just looks like the feet won't clear the plywood strip. Guess I will just keep trying. Maybe I'll try a big screw driver lover it up.

Re: Microwave removal
So I'm looking at the microwave still trying to figure out how to remove it. I have 93 B190 with a Panasonic microwave. Tho opening above the fridge is 20 1/8" X 12 1/2" and the microwave itself is 20" x 11" without the feet and 20" x 12" with the feet. The only thing I...
