Re: Replacing Sofa/ Bed
I too had the issue with feeling like I was rolling on to the floor in bed mode. To resolve this I put a 2x4 cut to the right height and notched under the upholstered metal frame in the middle of the folded down couch. It took care of the problem for me. You might give it a go. I also had my couch r...

Re: How does the refer work?
The refrigerator doesn't work very well in 12v mode. The food must be already frozen and cold in the chill box and the outside temps are 70 degrees or less for the refrigerator to maintain anything approaching normal. I have a wireless thermometer I keep in the freezer and fridge to keep an eye on i...

Re: Adding fans to upper outside refrigerator side vent
Eric, thanks for the reply. Good information. I was afraid you would say that getting 12v power to the vent area might be a little challenging. I'll have To spend some time looking at the wiring used to connect the 12v plug above the refrigerator. I'm also going to look at the wiring in the compartm...

Adding fans to upper outside refrigerator side vent
As I'm sure many of you know from first hand experience our 20 year old dometic refrigerator doesn't operate so well in warm/hot climates. In general this is not a problem for me since I tend to confine my summer adventures to the west coast or mountains where the daytime highs are in the 60-70 degr...

Re: Newbie ? about Fridge operation(I checked the other thrd
You may not know it but the 12v does not work unless the engine ignition is in the "on" position. The engine does not need to actually be running but be aware that the 12v operation will draw between 8-10 amps per hour and will drain the battery quickly if the engine is not running. There ...

Re: Newbie ? about Fridge operation(I checked the other thrd
I purchased a wireless refrigerator thermometer to keep track of whats happening inside the fridge without constantly opening up the door. This is what I bought: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QJVU78/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It works well and I have the digital display velcro'd to...

Re: Cab lights
After looking at the switch, I'd check the fuses. In my 93' the brown wire in the 12v distribution panel is connected to the cab lights and the furnace .
Good luck.
Good luck.

Re: Solar Panel Mounting and Roof Composition
I'm updating this thread to reflect exactly what I ended up doing to install the solar panels on the roof of the B190. The installation of the 2 Kyocera (140 watt) solar panels have been completed and I wanted to update this thread with some pictures of the upgrades and a last minute change to the s...

Easy GPS with Backup Camera Installation
If your looking to upgrade your standalone GPS you might give the Garmin RV 760 LMT with wireless backup camera a try. For the last 5 years I've wanted to add a backup camera to my 93 B190 but didn't want to pull a video cable thru the b190 to the dash and I didn't want to tear up the dash to instal...

Re: Sofa cabinet drawer glides
For anyone doing this modification if your using the RV Designer" Push Latch part number H315 make sure you use the 10lb latch not the 5lb. I initially used the 5lb and the drawer would slide out.
