All the images of us trying to sort out how to get in and out of bed has me laughing out loud, some sort of weird gymnastics we are all engaged in complete with knotted rope! Still thinking about that idea of a sliding bannister for the way down... Necessity certainly is...

Re: Walking on roof
I have a 1996, I weigh 220lbs, and have been on the roof several times putting a cover on and off. I spread my wight as best I can trying to avoid the solar panels and various vents. Seems to do fine, avoiding that slanted section seems to be key...

Re: Suspension Upgrade vs 4wd Conversion
Your decision makes a lot of sense to me. In a fit of mid-life crisis, I went for the full 4WD upgrade from Boulder Off-Road which includes a completely new front end, big bilstein shocks all around, anti-sway bars front and rear and big rims and tires bfg 275/70r 17s. Changed the gearing to a 3:73....

Re: Increasing Overall capacity of the fuel tanks
Thank you for all the replies. I have been away from VT, without the B190 and so have not been able to 'run it dry' (an idea which did make me really nervous the lower to 'E' I got... :( I think the comment from the twistedskipper sounds about right. When I get back later in July, I will run it into...

Mike, this is really helpful, thank you. I will be curious to hear how the dry camping changes with the three AGM batteries. I appreciate both the descriptions and the diagrams,
