catalytic converter

Here are five signs that something may be wrong with your catalytic converter:
Your vehicle's fuel efficiency suddenly drops.
Your vehicle doesn't accelerate when you step on the gas pedal.
Your vehicle may refuse to start.
Your vehicle fails an emissions test.
The MIL or Check Engine light comes on.

Haven't had the B long enough or driven enough to notice a difference.
Had the issue w/not wanting to accelerate or rev up last weekend.
haven't had a starting issue to this point.
No check engine light at this point.
About to button it up w/new plugs/wires, distributor cap/rotor, new fuel pressure regulator and Map sensor, still need to install new fuel filter, then see if I have the same issues of no power, not able to rev engine, after driving it a while. Can't speak concerning the fuel pressure regulator or Map sensor but the plugs were, although clean, were wore and obviously been in their a while and wire were original I believe so it could have been spark or fuel delivery related. I just talked to the previous owner and he had not, or so he says, had any of these problems and asked me if the catalytic converter was plugged because he had similar issues w/a previous motorhome and had to take out the CC.
