B190 Enthusiasts

Would people be interested in vinyl stickers advertising the site?

I'd like to have one or two for my camper, just something small like "B190.com". I'm thinking it'd be nice to have one on the window above the couch, and one on the back window.

I'm not sure about the cost end of it, and I certainly don't want to go broke doing it. I may be willing to make up a limited number to give away, depending on the cost, but I don't want to lose too much money on the deal.

The other option would be to have people pay for the sticker and shipping - I'm guessing, based on other vinyl stickers I've been involved in, that it'd be about $5. This wouldn't generate any profit for me - the goal would be for me to break even.

What do people think? Would you be interested in this, or am I the only one that would like them? (Which is fine - I can live with that.)

If anyone wants to create a logo for the site, go for it and post it here!

Quick update on this: I've ordered some vinyl stickers. They just say B190.com, using the same font as the title at the top of the page. They won't have the shadings. I should receive them early next week.

What color, you might ask? Silver, of course.

They'll be about 6 inches wide by 1.5 inches high. When I get them I'll post pictures.

I'm not getting them for free, so I will have to charge for them. I need to figure out the pricing yet, but they won't be more than $5 each, shipped.

Hey Skater, I would be interested in a couple of your stickers and will they be an inside or outside type decal.
Also, I remember reading on one of the forums about the site costing you money or something, whats the address or whatever that I can send you some money towards that cost also. Thanks for the site and yours and Alaskan's info.

Thanks for the kind words.

I'm glad there's some interest in the decals - I was concerned that I'd end up sitting on all of the ones I don't put on my own camper.

They will be outside decals.

Let me get back to you on the donation thing. The problem is, if you send it to me, it's income and should be reported and taxed as such. But I do appreciate the thought! I'm asking some friends that run similar-style sites how they handle that issue. I'm not as worried about the decals because I'm not going to be making any profit from it.

Put me down for the sticker also. I think it is a great idea to advertise the web site. The more members, the more information, the better we all are. Just let us know where to send the money.

Stickers are here! From what I can tell they look pretty good.

I'll start another thread with a formal announcement and pictures in the next day or two (it's raining and I'm not feeling very well today).
