newbie in NC

Post by cruzn4photos »

Greetings,

I started out camping in a tent in Boy Scouts, a pop-up camper with my folks (and lived in it and worked at a campground in Myrtle Beach one summer during college!). Had a VW Westy in the 80s and then in 2006 got a Class C, Class A in 2008, and last year upgraded/downsized to an Airstream TT. Love the great folks I've met in WBCCI!

Now I'm in search of a Class B and 99% sure it will be a B190. My goal is to find one this year, use it and next year spend the summer in Alaska celebrating the BIG 60 in it!

I 'found' Andy in Memphis during a B190 online search and he had a link to this forum, so here I am. Looking forward to finding the right B190 for me.

Thanks and look forward to meeting y'all on the road!

Hi
I'm new here also but have put up some posts.
We are on our first trip and love everything but the fold out couch not a full bed and the upstairs bed not easy to get in and out. We went to rv show but felt the b190 had lots more space then any of the new ones ESP the road treks. They are cramped and small on head room. Would not have traded my 95 even if I had to stay in them. I love the 460 eng and have learned that driving
55 to 60 gets be 12 to 14 mpg instead of 11 at 70 mpg. So I'm no longer in a hurry to get where I'm going.
