Hey, where are you at, Choptop? (Adding your VIN to the database.)

Edit: Also, any chance you could post the Airstream VIN? It should be under the hood, on the support above the radiator.

Thanks.

Finally got the B all the way home, was perusing the manual and found the receipts from the gentleman I bought it from but none from the past owner. Nice to have the Airstream binder w/the booklets and info for the appliances and such.

The final 100 mile ride home was enjoyable, she holds 65 pretty well and tracks straight w/no play in the steering wheel. A few semi's past me, no problem, could feel a little buffeting when they pulled in front but no big deal. I can see I will enjoy and have fun w/it.

Thought that I had posted this an hour back but can't find it so... Learned a lesson about the height of this B w/out doing any damage this morning. Pulled up to the newer car wash in town, started to pull in and the front hit the rubber seal on the bottom of the door and pushed it up a little. Got out, pulled out my step ladder and damn, the front fan cover will hit and it looks like the ac cover would be scary close, well will have to go home and give the little girl her first bath, sounds kinda sick now that I read it but don't want to call her BIG girl and pss her off.

10', 10,000 lbs. Both numbers are a little over what the rig actually is, but it's easy to remember and gives a little buffer.

Seeings that I could not pull her into the local car wash , I got out the stepladder, bucket and mitt and gave her a good cleaning. seeing that I got a decent look at every inch of her, there were no major surprises, the biggest surprise of the day was when I told the significant other to come outside, "I have something to show you ", because I got home w/it after she went to bed and of course I never told her I was buying it. She said it was nice and was I going to take her for a trip or was it for one of mine. Woman !
I did notice that I am going to want to probably reseal around things out side. Still a soon to be, happy camper.

Vehicle oil was at the 3,000 mile mark and down a little when I got it home after the purchase, you would have thought he would have done that before putting it on the market 8O , but I regress, Mobil 1 high mileage and Mobil 1 filter along w/a clean air filter and a can of Sea Foam in one tank. Boy I love not having to run it up on ramps and use jack stands for safety, just drop a cloth on the ground and everything is their. Boy I wish changing plugs, wires... was as easy.

You have the 460, right? 7 of the plugs aren't bad at all. The eighth one is a massive pain. It's the one just in front of the firewall on the driver's side. The wires aren't too bad.
