60 day member-New owner of a B190

Post by beaniecounter68 »

After 2 months of learning all I could about the Airstream B190 & hours of searching ads on the internet, I have finally purchased my very own Airstream B190. I am over the moon excited!

Earlier this month, I flew out to Columbus, Ohio and returned home to Seattle with my new 1994 Airstream B190. My sister & I drove over 2500 miles & saw some beautiful country. I purchased this van from Tim Trad & the van name is Kurt Vannegut. Looking forward to traveling in and around the Pacific Northwest. We got lost a few times but discovered fun little towns to explore in the process. Except for a few minor user errors, we had a trouble free trip.

Congratulations!
We remember your quest for the B van. Looks like you found a real gem. Anytime you can take an instant road trip with smooth sailing you've got yourself a keeper. We are happy for you that landed a trouble-free one. Well done.

Your camper has an interesting recent history - it was owned by a member of this site, in Montana, as of February, 2017, then was for sale in Columbus as of May of that year. Now you have it in Seattle. It's interesting how these things travel!

Edit: Would you mind posting the Airstream VIN? It should be mounted on an aluminum plate under the hood. It'll start with 1B9 and is 17 digits. Thanks!
