Generator exhast pipe

Post by gregvangogh »

I cant get the exhaust pipe off the muffler to remove the generator. I removed the U bolt and the pipe turns but wont come down off the muffler. I was wondering if it is keyed in of needs to be heated to get off

Huh, I had the opposite problem - came right off without even trying. Mine is just expanded on the end, no key or anything.
