Tip of the day - entry step

Post by Planck »

I have used this for several years and am happy with it:

After forgetting to remove my prior one twice and running over it I found the above at Harbor Freight. Folds up nicely to throw in behind passenger seat for easy access.

We went with this one:

Each folding leg adjusts independently, locking open at 8 1/4"H, 7 3/4"H, 7 1/4"H and 6 3/4"H for maximum stability. Corrosion-resistant aluminum with charcoal powder coat finish, non-slip treads and no-mar leg tips. Item number 69338 is available to replace worn or damaged feet on the stool.

It’s a bit more $ but the independent adjustable legs, along with the super solid build, are worth it. Really a great product. Just don’t forget it when you break camp. You really wouldn’t want to be driving over this either.

Another bonus use of this platform was when we used it at the 2018 Rose Parade so the little lady could get a better view of the floats as they passed by. 8)

Thank you for the post! I have been nimble enough to navigate the narrow last step out of the camper but, often came very close to twisting an ankle or falling on my face. I will order one of these and potentially save from having an accident which is just waiting to happen!
