Fixing screw holes in the roof of the b190

Post by Sector9surf »

I have a few screw holes from old fixtures. I also plan on removing a few things such as the luggage rack which is only half there, and the old tv dish which has been cut anyways. Im also replacing(at some point) the screws which hold the awning on.

I just want to prevent further leaks and rot which can be seen where the holes have lower water to get into the wood of the fiberglass top.

Will filling the holes with lap sealant do the trick?

Also plan to reinstall or add a New rack and solar panel what is the best and easy way to do this so I can avoid future leaks?

I've worked with resin also but prefer to avoid fiberglass work if a quick sealant will do the trick.

I plan to paint over the top with gelcoat either before or after sealing the holes.

What is recommended?
