1990 B190 - Front Hitch Options

Hey all,

I'm looking to get a front hitch installed on our 1990 B190. I would like to mount the spare tire in the front so we can use the back hitch for bicycles and other things. I had no luck with the local Uhaul store. "We only install rear hitches." At this point, I'm trying to find a front hitch that is compatible with the van and possibly go the DIY route.

The Curt 33055 is listed to be NOT compatible with the 1990 E350 chassis. https://www.amazon.com/CURT-33055-Front ... B001W8OC2Q
I had no luck at etrailer.com either.

Does anyone have any advice to offer here?

Thanks!!

You may want to put the bikes on the front your spare tire may block the airflow to the radiator.

But I did a little diging and found this. #13053 seems to be the one that fits your 1990. ImageImage

Thank you. Are these hitches compatible in both the back and the front of the van? Mine already has one in the back.

The Curt 33055 is listed as 1991-2006 Econoline Front mount. It will not fit my 1990 from the photos and measurements that the Curt customer service gave me. I would love to find a hitch for the front of my 1990 E350 but have had a tough time sourcing anything.

This is a moot point for you, but: The van design didn't change between 1990 and 1991, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're wrong about it fitting a '91.
