Painting top

A friend of mine used something called Monstaliner to paint her fiberglass topper. She rolled it on herself after using coarse sandpaper. It looks great. This stuff is a paint on pickup bed liner. I think it has other uses too. It's textured. I'm seeking some opinions about doing the entire topper of my 1985 Okanagan, including sides. I know some have used a silicone paint, some use Dicor fiberglass paint. Any opinions or experience with this?
Thank you.

Just to throw another option on the pile - Colonial Patrick had his top wrapped in vinyl. I don't know what the 'best' option is, though.

Thank you for that additional info. Do you know how the vinyl wrap is working out? Was it clear or color? Would a body shop do such a thing?

He did it in black. Seems okay so far. He has an account here, but I'm not sure how often he logs in. I think you have to go to a vinyl wrap shop for it.
