Hehr no longer makes the bunk windows for '97 and up

Post by spicypeppa »

Just got off the phone with parkin-acc. They no longer make the shorter windows in the bunk driver/passenger side. I wanted to get new ones since one of the frames in mine are twisted from a previous owner hitting something in that area but looks like I'll be straightening out mine instead. They are part# 2999 windows if anyone ever needs the info. Pic is of the part # sticker in the window frame.

One of the guys doing a restoration has a video of fiberglassing over one of the top window openings. I suspect he was doing that because of being unable to replace it. Doesn't look difficult to seal the opening with the fiberglass, but I'm wondering if there are other windows that might come close to that size opening.

I think I saw that post on fb. I was able to still get the front facing wide bunk window just not the two on the sides. The front bunk window with new seals was ~$1600 shipped though. :( Just got it a few days ago.
