FibreGlass Bubble water dripping at seam

Post by tdrtw »

Team,

Per the image below. We are having summer rains now and I've noticed when I drive after the rains I get some water dripping out of there. If I hit the brakes (especially when driving down hill), I get a little stream of it come out, I'm talking only a few ounces I would guess. I've felt around and haven't felt any water inside, so I'm wondering if it's just being trapped in that dark blue seam.

Do you think I should put a good lining of caulking on it and if so what type? Any other ideas?

Thanks!

I had the same problem. See my fix under "caulking" in Exterior. That worked for me. Howard

I need to correct my reply. See Roadhog reply posted Apr 4, 2011 under "Interior" not the "Exterior" Form Index. Sounds like you have a similar problem to what I had. Hope this works for you.
