Recall for propane tanks on '94-'95 models

This site lists an old recall (posted in 1995) about the propane tanks on '94 and '95 models. Apparently they can work loose over time.

I posted it here in case anyone purchased a '94 and '95 so that they can check for this problem. The odds are excellent it has been taken care of on all of them, but it doesn't hurt to check.

What do you check for to see if it has been done?

I don't know any more than was on that site. It looks like there was an extra strap added. If that's not there, I'd just shake the tank every now and then and see if it's working loose...

Makes sense...

I checked the site and figured that was what they did. Looking at the tank now, you can't tell if anything has been added or if it was "original". Will do the "shake test" and keep an eye on it.

Thanks.

Thanks for the info. I'll be checking my 1995 tank stability today.
