Faulty propane hose!

Post by geoko »

I just posted this on the www.airforums.com/forums/f240/ site and felt I should also post it here: Recently noticed propane hose sagging under chassis of my 1995 B190. Upon touching I heard hissing and smelled propane. Hose was about to separate, and isaster would have occured! Suggest all older units check condition of this hose under vehicle and replace if necessary. My mobile RV technician had a special-quality braided hose made here in Tucson. (I don't know by whom.)

Welcome...

Thanks for bringing that up...

My 1997 was doing that intermittently, turned out to be the crimp on the tank end of the hose.
