1991 B190 Project FOR SALE in Merritt Island, FL

Post by Sector9surf »

Hi guys,

We are considering selling our B190 which we picked up last year as a project, but just don't have the time to be able to do a proper restoration like we had planned.

The van has had new shocks installed, new waterpump, a/c system repairs, resurfaced brake drums and pads, and new power steering pump installed...

the original interior was already removed when we got it and original seats were in terrible condition so we got a new interior from a similar year Ford van and also as to use as a parts car for any non camper stuff... window switches, seats, etc... are all there as far as car parts go. It will need a new rv interior built and probably an upgrade of the original components as even though we have most of them, I doubt they are up to today's standard. The propane tank is also still attached(hasn't been tested), but no generator. Has about 60k miles.

We are having trouble putting a value on it and I'm seeing some of these selling for quite a bit... just want to sell it a fair price and also pass it on to someone who will put the TLC into restoring this in the proper way. How should we value it and does anyone want a B190 project? (We are located in FL.)

Pictures would help figure out a value. Unfortunately without the interior its just a poptop van. JMO

Depending on just how demolished it still is inside you might get $5000. I've seen a fully functional B190 for $8000 and the nice ones can sell for $20,000 or more. If they have been turned into 4x4 they could sell for $30,000 or more.

If you post pictures you might get a better guess.

I've finally decided that I don't have the time I need to put into the restoration. so its time to sell the house on wheels.

Here's what it comes with:

1. 1990 Ford e350 v6 hightop spare van for parts... doors, engine stuff etc... the parts van has a blown head gasket and waterpump… It starts up but will need towed or just take the parts you want. I have the title for it.
2. Onan Generator (removed) it turns over but has never been ran so condition is unknown
3. Interior wood and paneling (I have all the ceiling templates)
4. Original electronics, plumbing, and electrical components
5. Bench
6. New front seats (90's seats from the hightop van in good condition) which are installed already
7. Bamboo flooring (not installed)
8. Spare tire
9. Solar panel (I have the original, I also have a 4x6ft brand new panel and 2 - 250ah deep cycle rv batteries which I don't think I'll be using so can work those into the deal if you want them)
10. I'm sure I'll remember something else later.

Here's the Good:
Water pump, power steering pump, gearbox, ignition coil, and plug wires are all new. A/C system was converted to 134a and recharged and appears to be good, but it blows out the defrost so will need some more tinkering. New brakes as mentioned in my post above. I have 90% of all the original components and materials. ODO = roughly 60k. V8 7.5 L engine (engine will go forever)

The Bad:

Interior is completely disassembled and original cabinetry is missing. (This could be a bonus if you're planning to build your own interior anyways. ;) )
Has some rust and some wood rot. Major rust has already been cut out and repaired professionally (There was a hole under the gas pedal, between the front seats, and around the bench window which has all been fixed already). The area around the rooftop a/c was leaking so some of the wood in the fiberglass is soft around it. The bench will definitely need to be reupholstered/ rebuilt.

This is a project I've been slowly working on over the past 2 years, but it time to pass it on. I'm hoping I can give this to a good home. Any questions please call me at 321-704-0013.

Price is negotiable. Want to pass this on to someone who has the resources to finish this and use it. I have too many other projects.
