SOLD 4/7/2021 1992 Airstream b190 campervan for sale - SW Washington State

VIN 1FDJS34G5NHA32745 Clean title

Being its original owner, I am very attached as we have been together for a long time. A year and a half ago we bought a 28' travel trailer to restore and it just doesn't make sense to have two RV's...

This wonderful van has always been kept in a building, never smoked or lived in (no funky smells), and tastefully renovated while leaving all the original features, so the interior is in like-new condition. Mechanically it has been maintained by the same well-respected, local auto shop for over 25 years and the auto shop owner is willing to talk to serious potential buyers about the service history. Original notebook with all manuals is available along with service records back to 2012 (earlier records sadly misplaced during a move). Located 45 minutes south of Olympia, WA, two hours south of Seattle WA and one hour north of Portland, OR (best airport to fly into).

Built on a Ford E350 cargo van chassis, Airstream created arguably the best quality campervan ever built. With only 1,393 produced between 1988 and 1999, locating a well maintained, one owner unit is a rare find. I bought van new in 1992 in Tacoma, WA for approximately $52,000 ($97,000 in today’s dollars). It has always been kept inside a building and only driven on the west coast (no rust). No one has ever lived full time in the van nor has anyone been allowed to smoke in the van.

135,013 miles (approx. 60,000 miles were local, level, freeway miles put on when van was my daily driver for three years).

I spent $7,973 (2016) and $2,574 (2017) on full interior renovation (including all new upholstery and matching head bumpers, flooring and grey blackout drapes), tires and mechanical service. Windows were resealed and bath fan replaced. The van has been rarely used since the renovations so the interior is in like new condition.

4 Michelin LTX A/T 2 All Season Tires installed 7/11/16 with 60,000 mile Warranty at 124,094 miles.

With its classy solid oak cabinet doors and frames, there is generous storage available including three large cabinets above the sofa, a large drawer under jackknife sofa and a closet in bath area. All appliances in good working condition including electric air conditioning, microwave, 4 burner propane stove and oven, propane and electric heat and 3-way RV refrigerator.

Equipped with towing package and electric trailer brakes, this one-ton beast towed a loaded three horse trailer up a mountain with ease.

Upper bed dimensions are 76" deep by 72" wide when extended. Lower bed/sofa is a jack knife sofa that expands.

I have stayed in this well insulated motor home comfortably for five days off grid.

Price: $24,000 USD. Email: kay@lewiscounty.com with questions.
