Selling my super old, low-mileage Airstream B190 camper van for more than most people make in a year.

But you don’t want this van. It’s 26 years old. It’s loud. It’s heavy. Everyone stares at you when you’re driving it. Right now it costs over $100 to fuel it up. It’s a ridiculous and overpriced vehicle.

You don’t need the 6.8L V10 because you’ll not be able to afford anything else to tow behind it anyway. It has less than 70k miles because 10-14MPG just hurts. It recently got new plugs and wires which are a nightmare to replace, and the transmission was just rebuilt with heavy duty parts because, well it weighs as much as a baby humpback.

It’s been converted to 4×4 with a UJoint 6” lift with 35” BFG KO2s and Method wheels on a custom Dana 60 up front that has the largest brake rotors you can imagine, and a custom Sterling 10.5” rear axle with a Ford factory locker. But don’t waste your money – you’re not really gonna off road this thing, you just want it because it has remote-resi Fox shocks on each corner and dual Fox shocks up front so everyone will think you rally this thing like a trophy truck. And to be fair you could.

Yes it has two showers with plenty of hot and cold water. One inside for when you are feeling shy, and one out back for when you want your bits in the wind. But don’t tell anyone you like to shower daily because that’s not hard-core. The Dometic toilet is new and it has massive grey and black water tanks so you can carry your poop around with you until you can find an expensive RV dump. Yay.

It has a gas-powered Webasto heater that you probably won’t use because you’re a fair-weather camper and you’ll only need the MaxxAir fan and 12V Dometic RTX2000 A/C. It has a new Vitrifrigo 12V fridge that is huge and costs way more than the fridge at your house, but that just means you’re gonna pack too much food. And there’s so much storage you’ll run out of things to carry around.

This van also has a propane stove inside because everyone loves to cook in their van while all of their friends are having cocktails and cooking together outside. And it has an oven for those times when you just have to bake a cake on the road. The truth is you’ll just use the oven to carry more stuff.

The van has 400AH of lithium power, 400W of solar on the roof, a REDARC Manager 30 and the Rogue TVMS System which is more expensive than your first car. This does mean you could be off-the-grid permanently, but let’s face it, you can’t get much time off because you’re working too much to pay for this thing.

All of the electronics can be controlled by your phone so you can show your buddies how lazy you are, and two REDARC screens give you all of the information you don’t understand and don’t care about. The controller next to the driver also controls all of the lights, rear locker and could be configured to control just about anything you want. It even gives you internal and external temperature so you can decide if it’s too cold to go outside.

It’s got a massive Fiamma awning that you won’t use because it’s just too much work to turn a handle, and the rear locking storage box form Aluminess is an overpriced place to carry all of your overpriced firewood.

It sleeps four, but two of you have to be gymnasts to reach the top bunk. A bamboo table top on a Lagun mount makes if feel fancy inside.

It has a hitch in front and another in the back so everyone will think you’re really sporty. The front UJoint and rear Aluminess bumpers with all of the Baja Designs lights cost more than some college degrees, and we all know that 12k Warn winch with synthetic line and wireless remote will never see any action. But at least people will think you’re rich.

There’s a lot more, but let’s face it you’re much better off dropping six figures on a bloated Sprinter. You’ll get way more Insta likes. The only good thing about this rig is that you can live in it comfortably when your significant other kicks you out of the house after they find out what you spent on it.

Since you’re still reading, here are the specifics :
