B190 for renovation

We are buying a new house, and it has the room to keep a B190. My wife has given me the go-ahead to buy one for restoration purposes.
We haven't moved yet, so I won't be ready to actually buy until late this year or next year at the earliest. But if you see one that has good bones but needs some TLC, at a good price, please let me know! This is intended to be a long term project, so there's no rush.
I'd also consider buying our '91 back.
I see a lot of good condition B190s out there for sale, but we're looking for the less-than-good ones...

Let's see, weird coach lights, compressor fridge, missing microwave, original carpet, some rust. Could be a candidate! But, like I said, I'm not ready yet.

This one sold for $7,600. Probably reasonable for low miles (65,000), 460 motor, body not rotted out, goo running truck. Interior needs renovation. needs fridge. other systems not used recently/questionable. Also located in Montana which adds another couple of grand in getting it home.

Have you found one yet? I am looking for pretty much the same thing. It could be a dump inside, missing everything as long as the shell and the bones and engine are good.

Nope, not yet. It seems every one of them was well taken care of!

Sounds like I have the one you're looking for. However, I'm still planning on having the fun of restoring it myself.
On a side note... has anyone on this forum done a complete restore? I'm looking for some tips and tricks for redoing a lot of things.
Anyways, there have to be a few more out there. If you're not 100% set on a B190 Maybe look for the Econoline hightop and do a Sportsmobile/ Colorado Camper Design?... I recently found one for parts with an excellent interior which I'm using to redo the dash, door panels, seats, and power lock/ window buttons on my B190. Definitely costs a lot less to buy and the interiors are the same minus all the cool camping stuff.
Good luck!

I think it depends on how you define complete. There have definitely been some interior re-dos and I know people have done various things to the exterior (cleaning/resealing the top, repainting, etc.) and of course drivetrain work like 4x4 conversions.

Yeah, that's a possibility, too. I'm just sort of sitting around watching and waiting. I'm not really in a position to take on a new project right now, anyway, so there's no rush.
