Looking for 1999 (only) airstream B190. I am a mechanic so I am not concerned with any repairs. My 1 request is rust free body. I am located in San Diego. Mark 619 997-9954 or

There's only 46 1999s ever made. Good luck with your search but you may want to expand it a bit.

I have now missed out on two 1999's by a total of 4 hours, one in Houston and now one in Missouri. Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated. Mark 619 997-9954

Just saw
this ad.
Edit: Oops, that may be the Missouri one you mentioned. For some reason I thought it was in California.

Interesting stats. Do you know the numbers for 1989?

We don't have that number, or the number for 1990. We do know there were
at least 1,329 made, and of those 1,142 are from
1991-1999, so that leaves ~200 in 1989 and 1990.

Thank you. That brings up another question. Since the '89 units were constructed in Canada by Okanagan, they are numbered differently and don't appear to follow the Airstream serial numbering. I was in contact with Fraserway RV (the buyers of Okanagan), learning of some of the history and trying to figure out the sequencing of my unit, but we couldn't get beyond some unsupported guesses. My Serial No. (from Okanagan, not Ford Vin number) is 8J00259, of which 259 makes no sense, nor does 59 if it was constructed in June/88.

I do have a few B190s from '89 with Airstream VINs in the database, but you're right, the ones made under the Okanagan banner definitely have a different serial number.
A friend has an '87 Okanagan, and we were looking at his serial number two weeks ago, but I didn't note it.
