slip covers for front seats

Post by Lou0403 »

I've been looking all over the internet for seat covers for the front seats of my E190. I sure admire you guys who can change out seats. Has anyone seen seat covers that fit over the wide back of the seats? Would they interfere with the electric controls on the driver's seats?

I just made some very simple ones with my neighbor yesterday out of some scrap material, literally just cut it 26" wide by 70" long and sewed an 8" pocket to slip over the top of the seat back and then draped and tucked the rest. Super easy and cheap. I will try to post photos in a little bit.

I put these on our 93, as our dog sleeps in the drivers seat at night. Easy to wash, good quality and fit well:
