I've always disliked the way the passenger seat belt interferes with getting in and out of the side entrance doors so I devised a fifty cent solution using an eye bolt and an s-hook to hold it up and out of the way. Here're some pics showing my solution.

Nice idea But, be sure to unhook it when traveling - if you were in an accident and someone was using that belt, it's likely the hook or the eye wouldn't hold and the person would go flying toward the windshield, even though the belt locked up as it should...until the belt caught them. Ow!

This is an awesome idea! Thanks for posting it. I never have anyone who tides with me so this is perfect. If I did, you could simply slide the belt out of the S hook and it would return yo it's normal position.

It's definitely unhooked when riding,just hooked up when camping.
